Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing of ScriptPro’s pharmacy automation products combines quality, customization, and testing—and it all happens at our headquarters in Mission, Kansas.

Quality control is an intricate component of our manufacturing process. Parts are thoroughly tested before assembly, and during manufacturing, customization takes place. Pharmacies are able to customize the build of the product for their specific needs. Once assembly is complete, additional testing takes place to ensure that your ScriptPro system will be 100% operational at installation.

Quality Assurance Process
ScriptPro Executive VP and COO Bill Thomas shows Matt Mallinson, co-owner of Matt’s Medicine Store, that the first step in manufacturing ScriptPro products is quality assurance. All parts are rigorously tested before assembly. A 300-point inspection is run on every component, as well as checks at each step of the manufacturing process. View video: Quality Assurance Process

Custom Order Dispensing Cells
Matt Mallinson, co-owner of Matt’s Medicine Store, tours ScriptPro’s manufacturing facility to see how ScriptPro robots are customized for each installation. ScriptPro works with the pharmacy to determine their needs, such as vial types and sizes, and size of drug cells and quantities needed. Burn-in Process
ScriptPro Executive VP and COO Bill Thomas explains to Matt Mallinson, co-owner of Matt’s Medicine Store, ScriptPro’s testing process at the end of system assembly. Three days of in-house tests are run on robots, including an “EKG” that tests electrical current levels and the temperature of components while the machine is running. This provides future diagnostic capabilities for Customer Service when the robot is out in the field. All systems are stringently tested so that when the robot arrives at the pharmacy, there is no downtime. View video: Burn-In Process
