Preparing for Pharmacy Automation

Working closely with each customer, the Site Development Team evaluates, plans and coordinates the installation and initial startup of every ScriptPro system. During an on-site visit, a Site Preparation Consultant assesses the physical layout and fixtures to ensure the efficient integration of the system into the workflow of the pharmacy. This pre-installation preparation includes reviewing electrical connections, pharmacy computer interface protocol and the installation of a dedicated phone line that is required for remote on-line support of the system.

Vials
Robot vial dispensers may come in three different sizes, depending on the vial sizes you select for your robot. The SP 200 and SP 100 robots comes with three vial dispensers or another option you may want to consider is the Bulk Load Vial Dispensers. The SP 50 robot has two vial dispensers. The type of vial supported in each dispenser is up to you, and one of the decisions you will make when you work with Site Development. >more
Software Interface
ScriptPro products include an interface with any existing pharmacy computer system. The interface is critical to the operation of your system as it automatically transfers all the prescription data needed to drive prescription processing in your pharmacy. ScriptPro professionals will configure and test your interface prior to the installation of your ScriptPro Robot or SP Central Workflow System to make certain that there is no disruption to your pharmacy's operations. >more
