MISSION, KS--Michael E. Coughlin, President and CEO of ScriptPro, has been appointed to an Advisory Board for the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP). As an Advisory Board member, Coughlin will provide guidance for the overall direction of the organization’s newsletter, Medication Safety Alert!®

ISMP is a non-profit organization that works closely with health care practitioners, institutions, regulatory agencies, professional organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry, to provide education and information about adverse drug events and their prevention. Medication Safety Alert! is an electronic newsletter that contains current information about medications and potential adverse drug reactions.
