Script Scanner

Script Scanner interfaces with ScriptPro’s SP Central® System to quickly scan and electronically store images of hardcopy prescriptions. The scanned prescription image is easily viewed on-screen to facilitate verification at any step of the prescription filling process and after the prescription has been dispensed.

Script Scanner reduces paper management required in the prescription filling process and eliminates burdensome manual retrieval of paper prescriptions. Recommended options based on the pharmacy’s workflow suggest users scan at any of the following steps:

• Prescription data entry
• Technician filling
• Post-prescription processing

Scanned prescriptions are automatically linked in SP Central and can be viewed for new and refill prescriptions anytime during prescription processing.
