    Faces of ScriptPro!

Meet ScriptPro Custodian Lead Jigme Mingyur

Jigme maintains the polished look of many buildings on our ScriptPro campus. As Custodial Lead for Facilities, Jigme works behind the scenes to make us look great.

Jigme notes, “I am committed to ScriptPro and I enjoy my job and love all the people I get to know and work with every day.”

One of Jigme’s favorite pastimes is going to Sporting KC games. He also enjoys spending time with friends and watching all kinds of sports.

Jigme’s previous life experiences, which led up to him emigrating to the U.S. in 2001, are fascinating. As a Tibetan, Jigme grew up in the traditions of Buddhism, and became a Buddhist monk.

He eventually moved from Tibet to India where he had to pass vigorous exams to be accepted into the Dalai Lama’s monastery. There he studied Buddhism and mandalas.

Mandalas are works of sacred art in Tibetan Buddhism – a geometric figure that represents the universe.

Jigme notes, “The purpose of a mandala is to be the visualization of your meditation.”

Jigme has also been to Europe several times creating mandalas in order to share Tibetan culture.

We are lucky to have someone of so many varied talents on the ScriptPro team!
