Future Pharmacy Management Taught by Talented Pharmacy School Educators

On National Teacher Day, we want to recognize teachers everywhere for all they do for their students. Being in the pharmacy industry, we also recognize the hard work and talent of pharmacy school educators who prepare the next generation of pharmacists for better pharmacy management and more.

In recent years, at the University of the Pacific Pharmacy School, a partnership formed with ScriptPro that allows over 400 pharmacy students each year to have an opportunity to learn about automation technology and pharmacy management, and how they can utilize this technology to promote safety, decrease errors, spend more time with patients, reduce wait time, and enhance their profits.

Pharmacy management is changing rapidly, and according to Nancy DeGuire, students are glad to have automation technology training because they feel more prepared to enter their practice settings equipped with a working knowledge of this technology.
